Mark’s Approach to Productivity
Craig David met this girl on a Monday 🎶
Then continues to woo her (fairly swiftly) during the week.
My week starts differently. I begin by setting out THREE KEY THEMES – the priorities or major tasks that will keep me focused and driven. These themes help set the tone and direction for the week ahead.
Once I have these themes in place, I time-block my diary to make sure I carve out space to make progress on them. Whether it’s creating new content, arranging meetings with clients, or building out future projects, these blocks give me the structure to move forward, even on busy days.
Of course, sometimes the week already feels full – with client meetings, course participants, and all the unexpected tasks that pop up. When that happens, I focus on making progress in between the packed schedule, keeping the momentum going.
If my key themes are urgent and important, that’s my signal to adjust. I either rework my existing commitments or block out new appointments to make sure the essential things get done. Flexibility with focus – that’s the balance I aim for.
What are your three key themes for the week? How do you keep yourself on track?
Until next time,
Mark & Suzanne
