Experimentation is an essential part of running any business, especially when it comes to determining what your customers are willing to pay. This disparity highlights an important truth: pricing often comes down to confidence. And as a new business owner, confidence in pricing is something you develop over time. The more you bring money into early conversations with prospective customers, the less intimidating it becomes to state your price—and stick to it—without immediately caving in and offering a discount.
