CALL OUT FOR A SPEAKER
Advantages of Age is hosting its first conference on 10th October: Rebel Later Life: The Ideas Party, taking place at Cecil Sharp House, Camden Town.
We’re bringing together individuals and organisations who are reimagining ageing in all its forms — around life, travel, work, death, and everything in between. It will be a brilliant day of inspiring talks, workshops, and opportunities to connect with people challenging the media narrative around later life.
We are looking for a speaker to share their experience of returning to study in later life. Later life learning is having a real resurgence, and we’d love to hear from someone aged 50+ who has gone back to university to do a degree and is happy to talk about what that journey has meant to them.
