I disagree with "For scale-based questions, include a neutral midpoint." This is a highly controversial topic and I'm sitting on not adding a neutral midpoint when using Likert scales. I don't see value in "neutrality". I want to prompt respondents to indicate whether their POV is positive or negative.

Valid point. Sometimes I do find myself on the side of not caring/having an opinion. In such circumstances, what’s your recommendation?
I prefer to add an extra option that indicates it's irrelevant for the user, for example, 'N/A'. E.g.
How satisfied are you with the chat functionality?
- Very satisfied
- Satisfied
- Dissatisfied
- Very dissatisfied
- N/A (or Don't use the functionality)
