Lead Generation on Auto-Pilot
I’ve always a bit wary when someone takes over one of my more significant social media accounts for fear they’ll send a message that is poorly constructed, with multiple typos, and which appears to have been generated by a bot.
I receive multiple messages of this type, such as one I had recently asking me how, as a reputable cleaning business, they could help me find more clients! Some machine clearly hadn’t looked at my profile carefully enough and, it was only after the third annoying follow-up message, that I felt the need to inform the bot/human/whoever was responsible, my business had nothing to do with cleaning.
However, I recognise that for many businesses, generating clients is a numbers game and if you’re sending out hundreds of messages daily, you may only need a small number to convert to make it worthwhile.
It’s gratifying when an automation actually seems to be working. At the moment, I am keeping an eye on the messages going out, and for the majority, they seem to be going to people whom might have a genuine interest in the product being offered and I haven’t yet had anyone tell me to f*** off, so I count that as a win.
Moreover, I’m beginning to see meetings appear in my diary and, out of the three that have been organised for me so far, they all have potential, with two requesting a follow-on meetings, which is a great start.
If you’re curious as to the tools being used and that have been set up to allow me to simply turn up to a meeting, they are:
FINDING LEADS:
Instantly.ai - this has multiple uses but is particularly useful for finding leads as it tracks visitors to your website, which it then converts into contacts as well as accessing over 450 million contacts that it sources via AI.
MESSAGING LEADS USING LINKEDIN:
Botdog is the simplest, cheapest automation tool for individual salespeople and small teams. Schedule invitations & follow up messages, import lists of contacts in a few clicks, turn LinkedIn into a revenue-generating machine.
MEETING NOTES:
Fireflies.ai - You can use the note taker that comes courtesy of Zoom or a tool such as this to receive detailed notes, action items, and customised summaries instantly after every meeting.
What automation tools are you using, or have you tried and ditched?
Until next time,
Suzanne
