You can see it now, six months in. The things you were going to change — the pricing, the client mix, the pipeline, the working rhythm — are either different or they are not. The goals you wrote down are either happening or they are not.
Most founders at this stage do one of two things.
They convince themselves Q3 will be different. That something will shift, that the busy patch will settle, that the clarity they were waiting for will arrive on its own. Or they quietly file the year as a partial write-off and start thinking about what they will do in January.
There is a third option.
Use the next six months deliberately. Not with a new list of goals — you already know what happens to those. With a different structure underneath them.
